The new fleetweather.com web site went live on March 21, 2010. Its stream line design makes it easy for clients and those new to FleetWeather to quickly determine if FleetWeather provides a service relevant to their commercial shipping operation.  The site is designed and targeted specifically for the commercial shipping industry and the wide range of professionals within: Ship Charterers, Ship Owners, Ship Operators, Vessel Managers, Ships Masters, Maritime Attorneys, Marine Insurance Professionals, and Surveyors. The site also offers information for other types of commercial shipping operations including Tugs, Barges, Off-Shore Operations and Bunker and Fuel Suppliers. The site includes a full array of sample products and an improved web form for requesting service online. FleetWeather will continue to add, revise and modify content on the site regularly based on client comments and requests.

Today FleetWeather unveiled its new client web information portal. This secure web site is immediately available to all FleetWeather clients to provide them with current and past voyage information for all of their vessels managed by FleetWeather.  Market analysis and valued client feedback has assisted FleetWeather in designing this new service enhancement to provide clients the capability of easily obtaining essential vessel and weather information at our newly developed FleetWeather client site. The following items are available at the site:

  • Request Service – An easy to use web form for requesting any of FleetWeather’s many services including ship nominations or voyage reconstructions.
  • Performance Report Archive – A searchable, comprehensive database at your fingertips for the retrieval of past voyage reports.
  • Other Documents Archive – A searchable, comprehensive database at your fingertips for the retrieval of other types of documents created by FleetWeather for your company (i.e. voyage reconstructions, marine forensic studies, supporting claims documents, etc.)
  • Custom Links – This section can provide access to ships nominated from other worldwide offices. In addition, FleetWeather can add links to other websites that would be beneficial to your company for easy access when visiting your client site.
  • Comments, Ideas or Questions – A simple method for asking us questions or providing us with comments or ideas on issues that do not require an immediate response.
